Tony Cafferkey, TC to most who knew him passed away this afternoon, Wednesday 28th January. He leaves behind a loving wife Sylvia and daughter Nichola.
Tony was passionate about our Southport Community, not only was he Chief Executive of the Scarsbrick Hotel from 1978 he was vice-chairman of the Northwest Tourist Board for 15 years and was also a member, and a life president, of the Southport Flower Show Board.
Tony joined us on our first R.S.L, by taking part in a couple of shows. He truly believed in a town working together.
Tony you will be sadly missed, you were an inspiration to so many, and we at Southport Community Radio send our love and best wishes to your family.
